Seasonal Assistant Golf Professional

Orchid Island Golf & Beach Club is seeking a Seasonal Assistant Golf Professional for the 2026 - 2027 season. On a barrier island, tucked between the Atlantic to the east and the Indian River to the west, is the true gem of the Treasure Coast, Orchid Island Golf and Beach Club, a member-owned Florida golf community featuring spectacular homes arranged along more than a mile of white sand beach or tucked around an Audubon-certified course designed by the legend, Arnold Palmer. Orchid Island played host to the 2018 U.S. Senior Women's Amateur.

Active PGA Member or Associate in good standing

3+ years of private club experience

Extensive knowledge of golf operations, tournament operations, and instruction

Extensive knowledge of Golf Genius Tournament Software

Knowledge in ForeTees Tee Time system

Provide and exceptional experience to all Orchid Island Members

Member engagement

Manage tournament operations in addition to Men's and Ladies Days

Use of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Jonas, and Golf Genuius

Assist in the management of the daily golf operations

Assist with golf instruction to members and guests of the Club with both private lessons and group clinics

Assist with the merchandising program in the Golf Shop

Work with the Golf Shop Manager with displays, inventory, and the promotion and sales of merchandise

Demonstrate to ability to work well independently

Playing with Members of all skill levels
