Assistant Wrestling Coach (Boys & Girls)

Manteo High School Wrestling is seeking an Assistant Wrestling Coach for the winter sports season to support both the boys and girls wrestling programs.

• Assist with practices, competitions, and supervision of student-athletes
• Support skill development, conditioning, and match preparation
• Promote teamwork, accountability, sportsmanship, and positive student relationships
• Help monitor academic progress and eligibility requirements
• Follow all school, district, and North Carolina High School Athletic Association expectations and policies

• Wrestling and/or coaching experience preferred
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with students
• Must meet all district coaching requirements and background check expectations

Winter season position with after-school practices, evening competitions, and occasional weekend events.
