Assistant Golf Course Superintendent

Join our team as an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent at our picturesque golf course on Corpus Christi Bay in Portland Texas. As Assistant Superintendent, you will assist the Golf Course Superintendent in managing all aspects of golf course maintenance to ensure exceptional playing conditions. Key responsibilities include supervising maintenance staff, coordinating irrigation schedules, managing equipment maintenance, and implementing integrated pest management programs. • Bachelor's degree in Turfgrass Management or related field preferred but not required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in golf course maintenance
• Knowledge of irrigation systems, turfgrass maintenance practices, and pest control methods
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Pesticide applicator license or the ability to obtain one within 6 months of hire
