Job Description:
S P O T, Inc. is seeking a skilled and passionate Out-Patient Occupational Therapist to join our team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and treatments to children in our outpatient clinic setting. You will work collaboratively with a team of therapists and support staff to deliver individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each child.
- Conducting comprehensive assessments to evaluate the fine motor skills, sensory integration, and daily living skills of each child
- Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans to improve functional abilities, independence, and overall quality of life
- Providing one-on-one therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques and interventions
- Collaborating with parents, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective communication and continuity of care
- Monitoring and documenting progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
- Participating in team meetings, case conferences, and professional development activities
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an ACOTE-accredited college or school
- Current and valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Specialization or experience in pediatric occupational therapy is preferred
- Knowledge of sensory integration techniques, fine motor skills development, and adaptive equipment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Compassionate and client-centered approach to therapy
