Account Executive, Season Ticket Service

Position Overview: The Chicago Bulls are seeking an Account Executive who is a highly organized, personable self-starter that is passionate about delivering world-class service and forging long-term relationships with Season Ticket Holders and fans. In this role, you will be responsible for the year-round membership experience and annual retention of their Season Ticket Holder portfolio, support the execution of all member benefit programs, events and game day experiences, and deliver outstanding client service to exceed personal and team revenue goals. The Account Executive will report to the Manager, Season Ticket Service. Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with 400-450 Season Ticket Holders (full season & half-season plans) and establish themselves as the primary point of contact
  • Work to secure annual renewal commitment from each account to overcome objections associated with the annual decision
  • Identify upsell, cross-sell and referral opportunities within assigned portfolio to achieve new business goals which are set on an annual basis
  • Build a structured, personal engagement plan for each account, which includes but is not limited to: phone calls, emails, game visits, face-to-face appointments, gifting, special member hospitality events, and Surprise & Delight moments
  • Learn and adopt the Bulls approach to account prioritization and fan segmentation and use this knowledge to deliver impactful touchpoints
  • Maintain up-to-date customer information in our CRM system to provide upward awareness of key information about your accounts
  • Anticipate, respond, and resolve all client and fan concerns, requests, and inquiries, and handle situations in a calm, timely and professional manner
  • Attend and participate in events such as member parties, out-of-arena visits, and other client entertainment
  • Act as a direct liaison between United Center partners and organization on game nights to assist with guest / fan experience and recovery
  • Participate in Ticket Department meetings and sales training sessions
  • Provide additional support and assistance interdepartmentally
Skills:
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build meaningful relationships internally and with Season Ticket Holders
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to adapt quickly to real-time changes to the business and balancing multiple projects at once
  • Willingness to dive into the details while showcasing a high attention to detail, follow through, and meeting deadlines
  • Takes initiative and is willing to go above and beyond when it comes to client retention and loyalty
  • Embodies and reflects the Bulls inclusive culture and commits themselves to the highest standards and integrity
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience
  • 1-2 years in sales, hospitality or client management experience preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software programs, as well as CRM and ticketing software; expertise in the Archtics Ticketing System is a plus
  • Previous experience in the sports industry or similar role is preferred but not required
Compensation & Benefits: The base salary range for this role is 42,500 - $45,000 annually + structured bonus and is commission eligible. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary will vary based on applicants education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. Workplace flexibility is offered allowing to staff to work a hybrid work schedule based on game schedule, events, etc. Full-time remote work is not an option for this role and interested applicants should be currently located in or prepared to move to the Chicagoland area.
