They compare these timelines to current progress and verify that products/tasks remain on track for timely completion. Additionally, they perform quality assurance checks for new releases and provide aid to IT staff during the software conception/preparation processes whenever necessary.
Project managers may also be involved with strategic planning endeavors, especially resource allocation, that affect their departments. They collaborate with higher management to structure IT teams’ workflow and objectives, making sure that the group functions as effectively and efficiently as possible.
