Salesforce Administrator

JOB DESCRIPTION: Signing Day Sports, a rapidly growing sports technology application in the recruitment platform space, seeks a Salesforce Administrator.

Our world-class technology is trusted by coaches and recruiters as a tool to take the guesswork out of the recruiting process and allow coaches to dial into the specific needs of their unique program. It allows athletes to form valuable relationships by capturing video verified data and pertinent information coaches are looking for in real time. Currently, we have launched football, baseball, softball and are developing and launching soccer and basketball in the near future.

POSITION SUMMARY: Signing Day Sports (SDS) is currently seeking a dynamic individual to become our Salesforce Administrator. The primary focus of this position is to administer the salesforce.com environment ensuring users have access, managing Salesforce roles/profiles and maintaining sharing rules.  Additional responsibilities will include importing sales department leads/contacts, maintaining the Sales Cloud, as well as building custom reports and dashboards.  This role is part technical project manager, part administrator and part Salesforce analyst. The Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for the executing on the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance and improvement of our CRM platform.  The Salesforce Administrator will report to the Director of Customer Experience.

Responsibilities

  • Perform system administration, configuration, and support for Salesforce.
  • Manage and perform all Salesforce deployments.
  • Ensure proper deployment rollback/recovery plans exist at all times.
  • Resolve any Salesforce issues submitted into SDS’ ticketing systems.
  • Oversees the development, implementation, operation and maintenance of the Salesforce platform to meet user needs.
  • Works through Salesforce projects, gathering requirements, discovery, communication with developers and execution of new features and processes.
  • Manages user profiles and permissions to Salesforce and integrated applications, while ensuring system and data security.
  • Identifies causes of problems with Salesforce and/or its integrations and takes appropriate action to troubleshoot.
  • Coordinates with users, leaders, and developers to ensure optimal use and efficiency of Salesforce.
  • Develops and improves user systems procedures, and prepares system and process documentation. Where possible develops and recommends alternative solutions to existing systems and processes.
  • Develops and delivers instructional training on the use of Salesforce and supported technology products and systems to staff and Salesforce users.
  • Clearly communicates all essential Salesforce updates, changes, and issues with stakeholders.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited university.
  • 2+ years of experience in Salesforce Administration, Salesforce certification a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests, and manage laterally and upwards.
  • Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on Salesforce.com and all upstream and downstream applications, systems and processes.
  • Able to automate business processes using Salesforce automation tools, such as Process Builder, Workflows, Formulas, Flow, Assignment Rules and email Alerts.
  • Consults with end-users on system requirements; understands, recommends, and provides technical advice.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word and other applications in the Microsoft Office suite.
