Job Description: S P O T, Inc. is seeking a skilled and passionate Out-Patient Pediatric Physical Therapist to join our team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and treatments to children in our outpatient clinic setting. You will work collaboratively with a team of therapists and support staff to deliver individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each child.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough assessments and evaluations to determine the physical therapy needs of each child.
- Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans to improve motor skills, strength, mobility, and overall physical function
- Providing one-on-one therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques and interventions
- Monitoring and documenting progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
- Collaborating with parents, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective communication and continuity of care
- Participating in team meetings, case conferences, and professional development activities
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an CAPTE-accredited college or school
- Current and valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist
- Specialization or experience in pediatric physical therapy is preferred
- Knowledge of pediatric therapy techniques, equipment, and interventions is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to therapy
