The coach will lead all aspects of the women's basketball program while supporting student-athlete success both academically and athletically. The role requires a strong commitment to equity, student development, and compliance with NJCAA and institutional guidelines. The Head Women's Basketball Coach is responsible for the overall operation and success of the women's basketball program. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Planning and conducting practices and competitions Program budgeting and fiscal management Recruiting and retaining student-athletes Fundraising and community engagement efforts Ensuring compliance with NJCAA rules and institutional policies Promoting academic success and student development Coordinating travel, scheduling, and game-day operations Increasing visibility and promotion of the program and athletics department Salary Range: Based on credit assignment (9-credit activity assignment) in accordance with MSCF contract provisions Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree Minimum of two (2) years basketball coaching experience Preferred Qualification Master's Degree in Physical Education or related field At least one (1) year of collegiate-level coaching experience Other Requirements Demonstrated ability to recruit and retain student-athletes Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in athletics Ability to work evenings and weekends as required Work Shift (Hours / Days of work) Varies; includes evenings, weekends, and travel based on season schedule Telework (Yes/No) No Application Process: Interested persons should electronically submit a letter of interest/cover letter and resume with three (3) professional references to: ...
