Position Description
Qualifications
- Must possess quality customer service skills
- Must be able to work well as a team player and independently
- Be trained in First Aid/CPR/AED within 2 weeks of employment
Responsibilities
- Verify access to the facility by checking ID and/or using control desk computer check in system
- Check out/in equipment
- Providing information about the Wellness Center and its programs
- Assist in the enforcement of Wellness Center policies and procedures
- Recording lost and found
- Set up of equipment i.e. volleyball nets, badminton nets, soccer goals, basketball hoops, gym divider, etc.
- Report all accidents and incidents to supervisors
- Perform general maintenance and cleaning in all activity areas
- Cleaning of fitness equipment to maintain a safe and sanitary environment
- Answering the telephone
- Daily, monthly, and yearly checks of equipment to ensure proper function and safety
- Intervene in actions of unsafe behavior
- Responsible for acting as the "social greeter" to all students when they are in the facility
- Responsible for supervising all activity areas
- Responsible for giving tours of the Wellness Center
- Participate in all scheduled meetings/trainings and any other projects and duties as assigned
- Responsible for daily operations of the front desk area including scanning ID's, telephone/customer service, and cleaning
Compensation
- $10/hr
