Assistant Coach, Women's Lacrosse

Responsibilities and Duties
Responsibilities for the Assistant Coach for Womens Lacrosse include, but are not limited to the following:

Assisting in planning and conducting practices scouting sessionsDeveloping and enhancing players' technical skills and understanding of tactical systemsSupporting operational tasks including, but not limited to:
o Film review and analysis
o Arranging travel accommodations
o Coordinating team mealsMonitoring and supporting student-athletes' academic performanceAssisting with all recruiting responsibilities and talent identification of prospective student-athletesEnsuring personal and program adherence to all institutional, conference, and NCAA rules/requirementsPromoting the women's lacrosse program and Towson University athletics through various channelsOrganizing and participating in community service activitiesAssisting with other duties as assigned by the head coach or Athletic Department

The work hours for this position include nights and weekends, as necessary. Travel is required. Qualifications and Skills
Required Qualifications:

Bachelors degreeOne year of lacrosse coaching experience at the high school, collegiate, camp/clinic, or professional levelKnowledge of strategies and skills in the sport of womens lacrosse, as well as University, conference, and NCAA rules/regulations/requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree
Experience in coaching at the Division I level
