Job Description

We are Landscape Maintenance and Design Company that has been in business for 35 years.  We have a loyal customer base and excellent reputation that continues to keep us going strong.  We have an excellent facility, excellent quality equipment, and a team based approach for success.  We are looking for a Supervisor to oversee the success of our Design/Build division. This is a year round salaried position with benefits and paid time off.

In this position, you must be bi-lingual (English/Spanish) with the ability to provide instruction and direction to crews who speak either English or Spanish.

You will work with the Production/Operations manager to meet deadlines and job times, interact with customers, visit job sites, plan with crews and Operations Manager, and maintain a smooth and efficient work flow. You will work closely with the Designers to supervise the production and fulfillment of job specifications. This position works as part of the management team that makes decisions on behalf of the company.

You will be directly responsible for supervising our Design/Build crews and taking an active part in developing the skills of the crews that report to them. The role encompasses the day to day oversight of jobs/tasks, fulfillment of schedule, training, managing time and materials, maintaining equipment and supplies, and performing general administrative tasks.

Requires experience and knowledge in hardscape installations, landscape installations, grading,  drainage, and a willingness to learn and improve knowledge.  You must understand process and flow of project management from concept to fulfillment.  The ability to plan and multi-task is a must.

Candidate will need:

  • At least 2 years experience in basic knowledge and skills in hardscaping and landscaping install;
  • The knowlege of process and flow of safety, installation, reporting and planning;
  • The ability to communicate (English-Spanish) to communicate with field staff directions and training;
  • The ability to understand job hours and efficiency while maintaining a high standard of work;
  • To perform administrative tasks as it relates to ordering materials, documentation of personnel, timesheet review, and be a part of the management team to establish departmental procedures;
  • To work with crews to develop their skills and abilities
